Bunkers, Pt. 1

After an afternoon walking down La Rambla and treating ourselves to fresh fruit smoothies at the Mercado de la Boquería, we hiked to the viewing point Bunkers del Carmel for sunset.

Bunkers is set on Rovira’s Hill (Turó de la Rovira), and boasts an amazing 360 view of the city.

Old bunkers built during the Spanish Civil War still remain for people to stand and sit on while watching the sky slowly turn dark.

The cloudless sky became reminiscent of cotton candy, and became the perfect backdrop for some solo shots.. Thank you Gabby for being the perfect model. 🙂

We started our decent down before the sun was completely gone in order to avoid the crowd.
